Rizzu — Promo Shoot

/ The brief

Ir-Rizzu's promo had to capture the soul of Marsaxlokk — the boats, the water, the fresh catch — while presenting the chef and the food with the polish of an editorial campaign. The stills had to live alongside the video and stand on their own as a hero set.

/ Our approach

We handled the stills throughout the shoot day, working dockside as the chef cleaned the fish, plated the pasta and finished the carbonara in the wheel of pecorino. Shooting in available Mediterranean light against the turquoise harbour, we kept the framing tight on the craft — the hands, the ingredients, the steam — and pulled wider for the chef-and-sea hero moments.

/ The outcome

The image library now anchors Ir-Rizzu's promotional roll-out across social, press and on-site collateral — pairing the restaurant's seafood expertise with the unmistakable backdrop of Marsaxlokk harbour.
